Stop in for a cup of coffee

Changed the starter. Found an engine to trans bolt not tight.
But hte problem must be in the solenoid or the wiring. I could here the solenoid click and voltage showed up on the starter terminal but maybe a lot of resistance. Just guessing.

Cleaned the terminals and got it running but don't trust the wires or the solenoid. Took it to the heated garage and traded it for the Barracuda. Deal with it next week. I did find a spare solenoid at the garage so that's good. Made in Tiawan - bought 5 years ago.,

Went out and drained gas out of the GMC. Patched the obvious leak with an epoxy patch kit. Messy stuff. Will dump gas back in tomorrow.then see if i can make it run a lil better. I will swap map and see if i have a coolant temp sensor.

Was that the epoxy in roll or more of a liquid and fabric deal?

I've used the epoxy in a roll before works pretty well in a pinch if you don't want to change the tank. I used it on my 47 International KB2

I've only used it to fill in unwanted holes in a metering block.

If it works, thats a big time saver or at least buy some time until it can be fixed or replaced.

So, I don't think I've told anyone here yet but....... About 4 weeks ago we found out that Chin's daughter is pregnant by her boyfriend from Hanoi. So for the last week and a half they've been hustling to get a wedding together. Yesterday the family from Hanoi came down to meet us at our house. And we had a formal Vietnamese wedding ceremony. Yes there was plenty of beer and someone brought the hooch. Today at 4:00 p.m. we have 200 guests at a party venue here in Vinh Long. Going to be another long day. It's always an adventure in Vietnam. You never know what's going to happen until it gets ready to happen.

So I broke the one hub yesterday, found the other side hub was completely shot as well. So two new hubs coming, decided to replace the axle seals, and the rear bearings, seals and brakes too. The list of crap going into this Jeep is getting quite long. And expensive

I don’t see a shot gun anywhere!!!!

Morning all not much to report other than its cold and going to get colder the next few days.
Need to pick up the house and make a pot of chili.
Buddy is coming over to watch the Chiefs game at noon.
His wife and mine along with about 20 others are meeting at a neighbor's today for the annual cookie exchange.
Each one brings six dozen cookies all homemade for the exchange. Perfect timing with the kids coming to stay later this week.

Watching the snow fall amount up in Michigan, 12 inches and another 6 inches today.

What's the scanner tell you? I always liked the ones that ran like crap and the temp sensor reads -60 after running 15 min. :BangHead:
