Finally my 360 is in the duster and is running! No transmission yet but did a bell housing modification to be able to get the the starter to bolt up to the transmission. Used a truck manual bell housing with the flywheel that came with the engine. Engine specs are: 360, .030 over, low compression, big valve j heads, comp cam xe268he cam, rpm air gap intake, brawler 650 carb mechanical secondary,
Doug's ceramic coated headers. It's come a long way from being a slant six car. I've always wanted a small block in my car. Alot of wiring modifications involved since the wiring was made to fit the slant.

Sounds very potent.Nothing like the sound of open headers. I like it.

IT SOUNDS VERY HEALTHY!! Total gratification tearing the engine down to nothing and rebuilding from scratch. First engine I've ever built from scratch also.

Great job, very healthy sounding! I would love to see more pics, the straight and clean body in B1 powder blue really does it for me with that one...

I know the feeling. Mine was originally a 198 slant 6. Now a 414 stroker. Congrats on getting it together!

I would definitely recommend it. I used a cast crank, eagle sir rods, hypereutectic pistons. All cheap parts. I think I spent about $1000 at the time for the rotating assembly.

Maybe down the road I will build another engine while I drive this one around and enjoy it.

Looks awesome.

You must have gotten those parts a few years ago at that price. Still a awesome car
