New member 1963 Dart GT

Hi all. Just picked up a GT. Pushbutton. Red/red. Got to find a good picture of the wiring diagram, the ammeter/ignition wiring got hot and I cannot tell how it is supossed to be connected. Someone posted a pic of the diagram on the site but it is too fuzzy. Any help appreciated and I cannot tell where the long orange wire from the pushbuttom control box is supossed to go.

Find yourself a tech service manual. Doesn't look like MyMOPAR has a 63 manual online.

eBay is a good spot to look. The wiring diagrams are in there.

That wiring diagram is here. Beyond that, as soon as you can, get the three books listed in this thread.

I cannot tell where the long orange wire from the pushbuttom control box is supossed to go.

That powers the light bulb that lights up the pushbuttons at night with the parking/headlights switched on. It ties into the same feed as the dashboard lights.

Beyond that: Tune-up parts and technique recommendations are in this post. Carburetor operation and repair manuals and links to training movies and carb repair/modification threads are posted here for free download. And you'll want to read through this thread about function/safety upgrades.
