so here is something fun... i got another digital timing light with the advance and all that... last night i would rev my engine and the timing would go from base to advanced then way retarded without lowering the rpm... i swapped the dist and it did the same ****.. was like WTF... hali mentioned it's the light.. sure as ****.. just posting this vid cause it's a weird thing.. ignore the sound, i was basically in my fan. and helen keller marked my timing marks.. i'm adding a new tape this week (full screen helps)

I took a vac day today Had an eye Dr appt this AM. Too many times I go to work after and can't see WTF I'm doing for hours after getting eyes dilated. Worked out good cause my mower broke a drive belt tension spring. I bent a loop to make a new end, but first couldn't find where to hook it. Pretty sure I got it right, but was tough to get to. Down in box under battery. Had to take apart a bunch of stuff to get at it.
Oil pan and parts finally came. Windage tray doesn't fit the pan. WTF! it is too deep for the pan depth for the front several inches. WTF! So I put it together without it. Fricken 440Source
1-1/4 on the 4 barrel Holley set up, 1-5/16 on the factory
It's Thursday not Friday. WTH I'm retired and it should be me wondering what day it is.
