I have not tested it yet, but I'm expecting it to be inoperable. Does anyone have recommendations for repairing the factory tach if it turns out not to work?
It's in a parts car. Just got the dash pulled out. The car is pretty rusted inside so I'm expecting it to be inoperable. Will try testing it once the scrap guy takes the circus awayI'd start simple. Is it getting 12v? Is it getting the voltage signal from the coil?
Yes, it was there.make sure you look to see if the sending unit for the tach is still in the car. I believe it is down in the driver side kick panel area. you need that to be able to rebuild it with the tah kit above, other wise the board is just out n the open.
