I am going to the mopar Carlislie in July to buy a body gasket kit & other parts for my 67 barracuda. Does anyone know who will be down there this year to buy such things ?

Layson's, Mancini, etc.

You might want to call for prices and have someone set one aside for you

They have programs with all the vendors and where they are on the property. Very handy!

Along with where all the car show classes are parked so you can go find your favorite type of cars. With 3000+ Show cars there it's a lot of walking.

Its got to be over 20+ years ago, I mentioned to the brass running the show ( don’t remember who)
The shows should rotate within the calendar every year - keep the same order but jump ahead the date the following year.
Nobody took me serious. Lol

yes july is a tough month for that part of pa
might do a drive by on sunday to see what left

10% of cars left on Sunday and they are gone by noon. So not worth it unless you are driving by anyway.

Im only 1.5 hrs it would be just to look around
And im working that Saturday...

Was there 3 years ago meeting someone
It was still. Cool
Maybe next year I'll go on a Friday or Saturday

An event that should be moved to late Sept in my opinion. Too hot in July.
NEVER move the dates around!!! Mopars at Englishtown (NJ) did this and it was the beginning of the end for that show. Those that attended that show could confirm

I like to go on Friday way less crowded. Saturday a mob scene. Sunday by noon is a ghost town. Weather can be very challenging you never know until right before the show

Yeah that may be possible next year....
By then the body work on the dart should be done and the shop truck....I have dreams

Steve Dulcich of MotorTrend TV Comes to Carlisle

Meet Steve Dulcich of Roadkill Garage and Engine Masters

Technically, Steve Dulcich RETURNS to Carlisle. It’s been over 20 years, but Steve has been to Carlisle before back when he was the Tech Editor for Mopar Muscle magazine. These days, you can catch Steve on MotorTrend TV on his regular shows, Roadkill Garage and Engine Masters. During the Chrysler weekend, Steve will sign autographs on the Stage and even conduct a tech seminar in the Hospitality Tent on Friday at 10 AM.
Just for fun, as part of Steve’s tech seminar, he is going to use the same ’71 Road Runner that he used for his tech seminars in 2001. Our good friend Dale Mathews owned the car then and he still owns it today. Dale has agreed to bring the car back to Carlisle and let Steve use it for his current tech seminar. Don’t miss your chance to meet Steve, get an autograph and even sit in on a tech seminar!

what killed E-Town was the year the tax man came around. it was never the same after that and died shortly after.
It didn't take long... The show field was always full and so was the racer and swap meet areas. then it was all downhill

yup. after the tax man the numbers dropped fast. they didn't help themseves much either.. figure you had carlisle not all that far away and growing fast not to mention much more organized and recruiting all the big vendors and E-Town just kept doing the same old thing.

Even though Carlisle is further away from me, it is a much better venue and much better show... minus the Drag racing.
