I took a pair of Dana 60 carrier bearing and honed them out .0025". Now they slip on and off the spool with ease.
No telling how many times it will have to come apart to get the correct shim stack on and I sure don't want to be pulling bearings on and off an aluminum spool multiple times
and effect the .0005" press fit.

I did that for my 742 pinion... soo nice to just slide it on and off when finding the right shims
