Ok the little "valiant" badge on the rear portion of front fenders was on all '70 dusters,as for the "V8" on the front portion of the fenders,i;ve owned 3 dusters 2 number matching 340 cars, and 1 318 car the only one that came with the V8 badge on the fender was the 318 car...as for compression '68-'71 340's had 10.5 to 1 ...

Thanks for clarifying on the V8 badge, makes sense now ... Also the 10.5:1 vs 10:1 ..I'm with ya so far, but I still believe they switched to the lower 8 or 8.5:1 engine during the '71 production year.. I'll never forget that '71 plum crazy Duster 340 (especially the soft motor) Once I destroyed that and installed the older 340 from the bone yard, MAN did that motor rip !!!

Yeah, I just re-read the Mopar Muscle magazine (March 2007) and it had a vintage picture (inside back cover) of a dealer from 1970. It had a broadside picture of a 'Duster 340' that they comment about those very same emblems.

If I wouldn't have read it earlier that day I would have never noticed it. But when I saw that car it was the forst things I noticed. Of course they showed a fender shot.

can somebody upload it to youtube i havent seen it yet.

They sell these episodes individually on e-bay but It does not fall under economy movers any idea which one it is

Did anybody catch the Red Duster.. they showed a shot from the rear... I swear it had an unshortened b-body rear in it :toothy6:

They could have done a way better show IMO...

Just got done watching the show, how many errors can you remember. No TVO cheating now....OK, rewind the tape, lets pick it apart some, for fun.

I still like it though! Nice to see them run.

I was thinking of the little mistakes they made.

How many Duster Demons came with a aluminum intake manifold? (4bbl no less.)

They show a engine bay and comment on that and the AVS carb while showing a T-Q.......

Etc...........

.....and I stayed up until 3:00 am last night watching.

What's wrong with me? disgust

[I missed it Just But would love to see it HELP!!!!!!!!!! Where do I get it??

DusterEd,
Great car, and great comments you were able to add. How did you get to be on the show?

On a side note, would I get into some sort of trouble if I gave copies of the DVD out? Not selling it, just making it available to those guys that weren't able to watch it...

I wouldn't tell anyone if you sent one my way! :D

it was a great show and I learned a few things I did not know...like I invested a lot of money in a "budget" car... oh well

it inspired me to make a few license plate frames for my 71 Duster - whatcha think?

Yeah I was yelling my father about that show with the stock street HEMI making 820 H.P.

The entire show I remember thinking "I hope the HEMI beats all, I hope the HEMI beats all..." Then when they posted the numbers I was like :^o Looks great in front of the bitie and blue oval guys and all the people watching the show, however in my opinion there is no way a stock street HEMI could post those numbers.
