Comes as a bit of a shock. I didn't know he was sick. I have to agree about not liking him much. His show made it apparent that he was a bit of a jerk at times. I wouldn't have wanted to work for him. But also have to agree that he did change the hot rod scene in a big way. His influence will be around for a long time. Probably longer than we'll be around.

Beleive me he will be missed in more ways then one.We were invited to his shop to a tour and it was a Great shop. He was not there to talk to the club mmember. But is wife did a real good job.. He was in the hosipsl with some some serious proplems. But any way he dided at the hospital.
You had to get to kown him ones you did you would get anything out him.
All my prayera go out to his Family

LOL Dart64...........Sounds like your having a good time. I Never knew Boyd personally. I had a hard time watching his show because of the drama. I did happen to notice the great relationship he had with a young man on his show that had a problem with his speech. You could just see the admiration the young guy had for Boyd and all he had done, and you could see the same in Boyd for the skills the young guy posessed. I think the young kid did a couple builds on overhaulin too. I'm sure Boyd has left many marks on alot of people and he will be missed greatly. R.I.P.
