Grump, Im really glad that she is doing ok now. Not knowing what exactly was going on had to be the worst part. Heres to hoping she bounces back quick and the 2 of you can enjoy the time together while shes off work for a couple days!!
 
I just saw this thread folks, and I'm glad to hear that everything is working out for the best. David, you look after that lady of yours, and get her back here posting her jokes again. :) Tell her all the best from her FABO friends.
 
I sure do want to thank all the folks here that chimed in and sent prayers out
to Xcptshnl1 and to grumpuscreature that I am sure was passing the floors
worrying about his sweet wife, These are some great folks that help fill my days here and when I herd about Xcptshnl1 it drove a spike in my hart.
We all know how I feel about where my strength and knowledge starts and stops at:read2: and I hope I can keep on learning and enjoying this great site.
I hope I did not cross the line here grumpuscreature.
I just had too.
I hope grumpuscreature is resting after a long night and Xcptshnl1 is resting
as well, Big hugs to the hole family that let me in there life and share the time we have on this big ball.

Dave so glad to hear Mary is doing better. Memike thanks for posting it so we all could send our prayers for them. That's what it is all about.
 
Oh man! I just saw this. I am glad it was just a sinus infection and not something more serious. Glad everything worked out ok.
 
Mike, you have a strong shoulder and willing ear here if you need it. Thoughts and prayers are with your friend, as well as best wishes for a speedy recovery. Don't hesitate to ask if I can help ya out.
 
Boy I'll tell ya, when, not if, I start to have medical problems I want Mike looking after my back, good job Mike. David, glad to hear that Mary is going to be fine after all and can't wait for the jokes to start flowing again.:cheers:

Im glad it turned out to be nothing serious. keep your chin up and a smile on your face mike. ill keep you, grumpuscreature and Xcptshnl1 in my thoughts and ask grandfather for a speedy recovery from her sinus infection. glad we could be here for you all.

I have wiped away too many tears of gratitude tonight.
David has watched over me like a mother hen, and now he is fast asleep.
The kids are down for the night as well.

This is what I can tell you...

I passed out at work ( I work at a buffet resturant called The Golden Corral in Cross Lanes WV) during the dinner rush. I remember having sudden pain behind my right eye then the next thing I remember was lying on the floor out in the dining room and my manager and all my coworkers standing around me crying.

My co-workers tried calling my husband but he had the ringer off on the phone. Our eldest son, Gregory, is autistic and the ringer upsets him. So to keep him calm, we leave the ringer off when he's home. David did not know what was going on for nearly 3 hours. I had our only car, the 66 Valiant "Hester". He had no way to get to me.

I was told I had a seizure and lucky for me I was standing next to my manager and he caught me and lay me on the floor on my side and put a towel under my head.

After a ride in a meat wagon to the local ER, a CAT Scan, X-rays and lots of needles, I was told I had a migraine from a Severe sinus infection which caused a sudden drop in pulse and blood pressure which caused my brain, for a lack of a better term, to reboot. It put me down in a flash to get more blood to itself, that is what the doctors said.

I have a bad bruise on my right shoulder where I hit something, i.e. a chair or the floor; bruises from where the EMT's couldn't find a vein to start an IV
( 3 times)
I was given a small iv pain med for migraine pain :compress:
Now I am having flu symptoms to go with the sinus pain, yeah!!:@:

Im glad to hear that you are doing atleast a little better Mary. Rest and get yourself healthy so we can all enjoy the jokes once again :-D I wish a very quick and full recovery for you!!!
