Checking out their website right now... Saw an ad in Mopar Action...

I'd like to set my Duster up as sort of a road racing-capable car.... I just won't be racing it.. I just want it to competently handle :D

Does this company make good stuff, or is there another outfit you recommend?

Very good quality and the owner Dick Ross is very nice to deal with. They also race what they sell.I have his upper arms and I opted for the nylon lca bushings and greasable shafts.I modified his upper arms by my own choice to fit adjustable rod ends for increased adjustability and zero deflection as well as no bind.Heres a couple pics of my front end stuff.

Very cool! Judging by your signature picture, you race with it too! :thu:

I'm thinking about going with them, once I get the $$..... Prices seem SUPER reasonable....

I bought all my stuff for my aspen through them, I think I could have found a little (not by much) better deals if I shopped around more but they do a lot of road racing and were willing to spend time with me on the phone about my car, that says a lot to me.

yha I have one of their front bars an the scamp. haven't drivin it yet though.

I did not use their T-Bars only because they werent available from them at the time.I have mopar performance 1.04" bars in mine.

oops I got a front sway bar not t bars for that I am running 340 bars because they were cheap.

I got a Stage 2 rebuilt power steering box from them for my '70 Duster but have yet to install it and try it out. Judging by the excellent customer service and cash I had to shell out (quite a bit for a 17-year-old) it had better feel firm!

I've got a stage 2 steering box in my '70 'cuda and its night-and-day better than stock power steering. I've also got their original prototype front sway bar in the 'cuda. When they came out with a new mounting provision, Dick called ME to offer one free of charge. Stand-up guy...

I think the products they make are great. I used the upper controll arms, the stage 2 steering box, the fast ratio pitman arm and ideler arm. I like the parts very much. And they are a great help on the phone.

Now this is different... what or how rather does this work? It seems that it would really stiffen up the suspension.

On my 1970 Duster,I had Firmfeel reinforce my K frame.I bought their front suspension kit(moog)power steering stage 2,heavy duty tie rod kit and sway bar kit. They have excellent customer support.Whenever I have called they have been more than helpful.Still putting the car together,so at this time can't comment how the front end feels. However can say front end went together well and everthing is tight.

Thanks guys!!! This info is helping a lot! Sounds like a great place to do business with!

What year and model is your car? Is that a disc brake upgrade? I have a 71 SBP drums... i have a 73' I can steal the discs and lower control arm from...

Its just a different way of attaching the sway bar end links, and allows for "some" adjustability of the bars rate. This is a custom 1.25"dia bar made by sainer engineering in fla.I dont know if they are still around though.John Sainer was an engineer for addco he had the blueprints to make the a -body bar in any dia.Addco use to offer a "sport" bar for the a-body which was a 1.25" dia. This setup allows the bar to react instantly which helps the car respond quicker.

Those guys are the best. I have nothing but praise for them and their steering boxes. I have a Stage I (I thinkl it's the basic Firm Feel remanufactured unit) in my '72 Valiant and it has ZERO free play on center, and is a power unit, but doesn't have ANY seepage or leakage, anywhere.

It has good road feel and the phone service I got from them was very helpful. Their turnaround time on the rebuild was quick, too.

If I ever need any more suspension components, they will get my money, for sure! Always seem to have plenty of time to explain things on the phone.

buddyralf,

What shocks are those that you are using?

They seem to have bigger tubes that most.

I have a stage two box, and the fast ratio arms, I also bought the KYB shocks form them, and had them do my manual box rebuild, Good guys to work with.

I work with the guys at Firm Feel all the time. They are a great resource for any handling questions and they have a ton of parts for Mopars.
