Real 1969 340 "cuda" A56 package for sale or trade

this is a complete #'s matching engine, auto trans and rear end. real 340 cuda with a56 package. runs and drives very well. ac blows ice cold(r134 converted). very little rust in pass floor and trunk. it is more than just surface rust but no holes.i am the 3rd owner of this car. i have all the paperwork from the original owner including the order form from when he placed the order. the bill of sale, the stub from the loan check he paid for the car with. the application for original title and lots of other cool stuff. i have 2 log books that he recorded everytime he put gas in the car,changed the oil, did any services on it from day 1 till he sold it in 1986. the only bad thing about the car is he put a pop up sunroof in it and an 8 track player. i have receipts for both. the car really only needs paint to be beautiful. the 2 hood scoops are in the trunk and i have already purchased a set of legendary seat covers for the front seats. the back seat is perfect. i have the original steel wheels with full wheel covers, i also have 2 finnish panels for the rear. i would trade the car for a 1967-69 dart or barracuda with a v8 and manual trans.E body with a manual trans or a B body with a manual trans. i think the car is worth somewhere between 10 and 15 thousand. i have more pictures for those that are truly interested. car is located in san diego

Thats a nice car. Rare with lots of potential. Have you considered keeping it and converting to a 4 speed? Its not that hard to do and you could keep all the automatic parts if you are concerned with originality.

i have considered converting it and i am really torn about what to do. i want to see what is out there.

I would convert it and save the parts. I went through a similar thing with a nice original paint 1969 340s notch. I sold it to find an original 4 speed car. It took 10 years to find what I wanted and spent about 8 of the years wishing I had just converted the car I had.

I agree, convert it then you know what you have. Too bad about the sunroof though....
I think it's worth 10 grand as is though maybe more with the right buyer.

Keep it, make it a 4 speed, or swap out the entire motor/trans- and return it to its 70's look, including the sunroof.

Did the original owner put those rims on it?
