Not that have much doubt what your responces will be but; I have been in constant contact with Booby of BJR racing for a while. He has been essential in the planning phase of my big block build. I am about to make a serious commitment in which Bobby will purchase some heads for me after I send him the money. He is going a long way out of his way to do this for me. I am giving Bobby a good guy vote and would love to hear of your experiences in dealing with this very knowledgeable individual.

I had some VERY well spend time with him in the phone a couple of years ago. He was very helpful. His posts are very informative. If ever, I could afford someone to build an engine or do a set of heads for me, it will be him!
You probably have no clue just how much you have helped so many of us!

Bobby is a all out good guy that is for sure. He worked me up a set of heads for my motor awhile back. The heads I had where toast. The price was right on the heads he sold me. After we settle up he took me to a Mexican restaurant and paid the bill!! You can't beat that!

Now thats southern hospitality...sometimes makes me wish I could import a few of you guys to hang out with,lol...
 
I've been in contact with him here recently and he saved me from making a big error in buying all the parts to stroke my 318 to 390 , I'll be building a version of his 349 build posted elsewhere here and am sure it will make just as much hp/tq or more and outlive the 390 build I was going to do thanks again Bobby for all your patience and wisdom with a neophyte like me . { wow can't believe I spelled that right on my first try woohoo }

It sounds like I would be way ahead of the game knowing him and letting him do my work for me when needed.=P~

Me too Mike!!! We are looking at a ton of horsepower with these heads.The car will definitely be fun...
 
No probs here, 4 sets of heads(1 set hemi), 6 highly modified carbs and no problems worth mentioning.

BJR and Mad Dart had a issue and Mad Dart was really pissed.

At the end, BJR replaced the head he screwed up. Mad Dart had OU812 finish up the engine.

I have no issue with BJR and still gets a good fella from me. A most helpful guy.

The tuffest thing about working with anybody n the net, 1 screw up and your just about totally finished no matter how many good guy alerts or excellent heads you churn out,

He could have helped a guy with a set of heads droping his 1/4 times by a 1/2 second a 100 times, it won't matter when one bad report comes in, your done, the world knows it and the person suffers from it.

Guys this is a really old thread.Posted before the head incident. I went my own way anyways...

Good guy MY ***!! You are Crazy Rumble..........he totally SCREWED me over and you still say he is a GOOD GUY?? I bet YOU will NEVER do business with him will you or send your family or friends to him for machine work.

Yes he replaced the HEADS but that is it. ALL IN ALL I AM OUT $2400.00 from that JACK ***!! Not including the TIME and ENERGY dealing with his KRACKERRRRR ***. I think his lips have a permanent burn mark on them from his GLASS PIPE!!:wack:
