I just got back from Willow Springs raceway with the Hotchkis suspension team and thought I would post what rim and tire combo worked on my 1969 Plymouth Valiant...

Sounds like a great combo - can't wait to see the pics! Doesn't hurt that I've got a soft spot for Valiants in general, and I think I saw your car at the Fling a few years back. Nice!

This is my rear tire I'm still working on the front.
265/50-15 BFG TA (no longer made)
15x10 Keystone Classics
large bolt pattern rear out of 73 Duster
Stock 68 Barracuda fastback with the fender lip rolled a bit.

Front - 205/70/15 on 15 x 5.5 w/3.5 b/s, KH 4 piston redrilled to bbp
Rears - Had 235/60/15 on 15 x 7 w/4.5 bs w/11 x 2 brakes. Since then, I was able to sneak a 245/60/15 on the same wheel w/better than finger clearance to the lip and spring.

I'm still working on getting the front tire fitment perfect, but I got the rear hammered out. The front currently has 215/60R15 BFG Radial T/A's on 15x6 American Racing Torque Thrust II's. Front disc brake setup from 73-76 A-Body. Tires rub on front right fender on the frontward bottom corner. I think I'm going to change to a 205/65R15 Michelin HydroEdge (somewhat matches tread pattern of the Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials on the rear). Rear tires are 255/60R15 Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial on 15x8 American Racing Torque Thrust II's. Stock A-Body 8-3/4 w/ Moser axles and 11x2.5 drum brakes.

Guys I need a little info.I have a 1970 Duster,I have 15x8 inch chrysler rallys I need to know what size tire I can put under the front and rear without rubbing.I was going to go with a 225 60 15 on the rear and a 215 60 15 on the front. Not to worried about the rear tires rubbing but Im afraid the front may rub when turning the wheels.Any info would greatly be appreciated.Thanks,Eddie.

I ordered the same for my '67 cuda except the front end will have 15x7 Cragars (with a 4.125 rear spacing and 3mm offset).

I'm still waiting on my tires and wheels from Summit racing. I hope the 15x7 wheels fit and I don't experience and clearance issues.
