I live near DuBois, PA. along I-80, about an hour from the Ohio border.

Very few Mopars around here it seems. Just wondering if there are any other members or vendors around. Seems there are a lot of members in the Eastern part of the state, so I'd like to find some in the western part of the state.

I live about 2 1/2 hours away from you..I do a fair amount of hunting on the game lands just on the north of 80 in Dubois, my neighbors uncle lives at an old farm just past Dubois. He used to have (about 10 years ago) 2 Superbirds in his barn. I ran a retail business in Dubois from '86 to '95 and I had a guy working for me that used to drive a Duster. There are a few guys on here from Curwensville, Punxy and I remember somebody from near Mars..

Which business did you have?

I live in rural valley which is about 1 hour south of you, my brother-in-law lives around new bethleham and we always hit a car cruise in rimersburg each summer.

Not to far away, Cranberry Pa. I got some family up your way but haven't been up there in awhile.

Dubois! I was born and raised in Clarion and moved down to SC to go to college about 12 years ago. Havent been up that way for a couple years though.

I had the business that is now Rent-A-Center, they bought it in 1997..when I ran it it was Rent America and was located at the end of the Sandy bridge at the light. Back in '86 the brick building on the corner was abandoned and ready to be torn down. I worked with a local guy there and we rehab'ed it, new roof, floor, front and rear walls and interior fit out.

Used to live in good ol Beaver county 'nat.

Tell Stanley P. Kaczewski I said hello up 'pere 'nat.

Pump an ahrn for me.

Frosty let me know how the project is going. i'm right in latrobe. i'm doing a '73 dart 440 swap. actually joe down at a-1 in greensburg is doing the motor work. i hope to see you around.

Kempkan,

Project has not been moving forward since car is in storage at present time. Need to make room at home but garage is full of house stuff and building materials. Have to rebuild carb to get it to start reliably.

Right now I live vicariously through my friends 69 Dart GTS 340 project.

I was born in Clarion also. Gotta love the smell of Oil city, PA. I remember as a kid driving through and loved that refinery smell:) I spent most of my childhood in NewCastle, Elwood City, and Tionessta area. I sure miss the fall colors to this day. New mexico has one fall color unless you get up in the mountains.......Sandy brown:)

From West Newton, PA - about 25 Miles south of Pittsburgh. Working on two 66 Cudas - one stock 273 4-speed with original driveline and interior, replacing driverside fender, door and lower quarter and trunklid, engine and trans have been rebuilt and all sheetmetal on hand for bodywork and repaint. Have new black carpet set, thats all the interior needs. The other will have a modified interior and a mild build 318 with a 904 automatic. Chassis and body done and motor is being assembled - collecting interior. Had your problem for about 12 years, cars were in storage due to nowhere to work on them. Bought the house next door, tore it down and built a 26' x 40' garage - ready for concrete then some serious car time. LOL getting your garage cleared out!!!!
