Where does one find the 4 support rods that I see at car shows. These are the rods that the lift off hood sits on.

Thanks

I'm looking for the rods that are 2 ft in length. Not the hood pins, sorry wasnt clear enough

They're pretty simple to make.

Get some tubing that fits snugly over your hood pins.

Cut four pieces to length.

Weld on a wide-ish circular flange to one end of each tube. (could do without the flanges if you're not worried about the weight of the hood on the edge of the hood pin holes)

Install second set of hood pins (uppers) into the flanged end of the tubing. (could weld them in, cross-drill, slit the tubing and clamp, etc.)

If you are worried about the hood flying away, you could even drill the bottoms of the tubes so that the hood pin... uh, pin? can be inserted.

I've seen some done up on a lathe, and others made from broom sticks. Can't find anyplace that sells them though.
