Quick Ratio vs Standard Pitman and Idler Arms

The TTI instructions (and follow up call) was the original source of my confusion. Between that and a couple other conversations, I was convinced my '69 came with longer arms as well as the 16:1 box for the factory quick ratio option. It seems '69 only had one length of arm and the factory quick...

Quick Ratio vs Standard Pitman and Idler Arms

This explains my original confusion. Thank you! I think I'll try to find a way to sqeek out a few more millimeters and run it. It's nice to know there may be an option with the later center-link and arms if it hits.

Quick Ratio vs Standard Pitman and Idler Arms

I'll have to look into that and see if my steering box (16:1 manual steering box from P-S-T.com is compatible. It looks like I have a 1/8" sector shaft.

Quick Ratio vs Standard Pitman and Idler Arms

I'm in the middle of shoe-horning a 392 hemi into my 69 Barracuda and the new TTI headers look great, but my idler arm comes within 1/8" of the headers during travel. I have manual, "quick ratio", steering with a 16:1 box. I recently replaced the steering box with one from P-S-T.com to tighten...

Holley Sniper Throttle and Kickdown linkage

It looks like you’re a lot closer than I was with the kickdown and throttle cables. I ended up going with the full Lokar setup. It wasn’t cheap, but it looks nice. I have the RPM Air Gap manifold.

Holley Sniper Throttle and Kickdown linkage

I finally got around to upgrading the fuel system on the 69 Barracuda, and I'm very disappointed with the Holley kit. What did everyone use to connect the throttle & kick-down linkage? It looks like there's another $30 kit Holley didn't tell me about when ordering my $1000 throttle body unit...

Running new flex lines on a 69 Barracuda (location?)

Yes. I was lucky those cleaned up well (gray centers help).

Running new flex lines on a 69 Barracuda (location?)

Thanks, @abdywgn, I swear I have been a member for a while, just have spent a bit more time on the e-body lately. Here's a pick of the a-body - #s matching 69 Barracuda, 340-S Fastback. My father and I built it ~20 years ago when I was in high school. I recently picked up a 74 cuda and we...

Running new flex lines on a 69 Barracuda (location?)

I'm installing a Holley Sniper EFI system with an in-tank pump. I have braided lines, and I'm curious if anyone thought of a safer location than right under the rocker panel... seems a little exposed.
