  • Do you still have the 65 Formula S for sale. I'm interested but need to figure out how to get it from the Chicago area since I live in Virginia. Pictures of the undercarriage/interior? Automatic or 4 Speed? Maybe the "S" answers that question but I don't know. Thanks.
I apologize for not replying as I forget easy after having brain surgery for epilepsy! I now can drive again and restart on normal life! Enjoying getting my 65 formula s ready to roll again from Maryland to my new home in Chicago. I actually forget who the loom came from but there are a couple of companies that do it for early a bodies. The one i got was an exact fit and easy install. Just post a question and others will quickly respond, in fact that is how I found it myself. I will do it again on the 65 eventually, for noe it is ok but does need and update for sure!
Get rid of 273 and put in a nicely buit 318 as I did. More hp and options use the 273 valve covers, exhaust and aircleaner, paint red and most could not tell. 273 solid lifter motor limited hp and parts. Unless it is formula s # matching perfect car no reason to keep original. Mine was formula s 273 4bbl but motor was not original so I made the change
