this is a 2003 ram 1500 w/ hemi, all of the fuses and flashers are in a big box in from of the battery, the trailer lights have their own fuses in this huge box. i looked for the flasher , but it seems to be inside the box , and under the fuse board, not easy to get to. i did have the trucks...

update ; well so far I have talked to three dealers, not any real help, no one seems to have had this problem... one guy suggest replacing the flasher, doubtful but cheap so i ll try it... second guy thought a new harness was in order...I dont think so .....last guy suggest the turn...

i need a little help here, problem is the trailer wiring on my 2003 ram pickup, it has the factory trailer package and wiring . problem is I only have 7 volts on the turn signal wires. the running lights do have 12 volts. the trailer lights do work when powered up with a battery charger...

crackedback has good points, and valid. but you need to know how to weld. the biggest welder out there wont make strong welds if you cant do your part. that said , a smaller quality welder will weld most anything on a car. do your self a favor and get some real instruction or take a class. I...

if you are looking to make noise ..drag pipes do the trick.. at the cost of horsepower. the best combo i have found is h-d 's screamin eagle slip on mufflers, with screaming eagle air cleaner , and a dyna jet kit for the carb, dyna jet gives you a better spring rate for the carb slide and...

that brings another point thats worth mentioning,,, when you are using a msd, plug reading becomes much more difficult becuase of the multi spark .. plugs tend to burn so clean there is little to read..so we really have to be careful in this case.,,,at least this has been my experiance....

if you have an electric multi meter ,,, you can use it to check for a dead short...go to the wire that burned, find where it goes to and check it at that point for continuity to ground...if it shows open circuit it is not shorted...if it does show continuity to ground you have a dead short...
