Just noticed my heater is dripping slightly on floor mat today. Now my question. Can I by pass the heater core by connecting the 2 hoses at the firewall in engine compartment? This would only be for a while until I can get the core repaired or replaced. Maybe permanent since it is never driven...

I have a commando air cleaner. Chrome and is in pretty good shape. Just a small bad spot at the back facing the fire wall. If you are still looking I can send pics.
