We all have our crosses to bear thats for sure. Nothing beats living in the great white north being a flooring contractor and running a wet saw cutting tile outside in near (or below) 0 degree windchill temps while standing in a foot or 2 of snow :)

Honestly I dont see an advantage, or disadvantage, either way. It all comes down to what you have to work with and cost. If you have the slant k-member and and its cheaper than buying a bb k-frame and mounts Id just go with the schumacher mounts.

The tabs wouldnt have to be welded, they go on the lower shock bolt. Check out this page of Tonys thread (Vic Storm). IT has some nice shots on the tabs
