I'm seeing quite a few post on the internet about the letters turning brown. The posts are a couple of years old, so does anyone know if the issue has been rectified by the manufacturer on the newer tires?

After opening both links, I saw that the measurements listed in them had a difference of 1 1/8" for the P/S shaft. and 1/4" for the manual shaft Do we know which is correct? I need this for a 68 Dart with power steering.

Does anyone have the correct measurements for both manual and power steering shafts? I need the measurements of the shafts ONLY (without the coupler).

Ok. I know the soft thin rubber goes under the mirror, what is the thick hard plastic piece for? Also, the other chrome bezel, or are these extra parts for different applications? No instructions or diagrams came with the mirror.

Does anyone have a diagram of where all of the pieces for the remote mirror go and what order they go on? My door was a shell when I got it, so I didn't take one off.
