problem solved . bad ground wire coming out of starter relay, want to thank all who responded with help.

yup use a half ton of clothes dryer sheets scattered all around engine and interior same prosedure as always , but you never know if somehting got in there

battery posts were clean . clutch pedal switch has been disconnected a long time ago. battery was on a tender for the winter, done the same thing for the last 12 years and never had this problem, all lights , radio etc working , still checking out starter relay.

ok will give that advice a try and see what happens

just recently put new cragars on p215 70 14 tires on front and p245 60 15s on the back on my 73 duster, while on the expressway, not often by the way, i get some shake at 50 60 mph. and steering feels like its floating around some, i know these a bodys do not handle like a new vette. any how...

the ebay unit should fit. you have to be careful with some of the repo units as they sometimes can melt at the top from radi heat.

thanks for help, I will stay away from these. I just hope other people that see a good deal on tires especially on CL, know that they may look new , but could be years old and know enough to check the codes out.

yea I see the dates , whats with the bumping thing. how do I stop it from happening? makes me look like a dope, I fixed the car myself, along with a lot of other stuff on it. so whats with this Brenda dude / chick or what ever they are?
