ISO a Carter Thermo Quad for my 72 340 4 speed. I believe the proper one to be a 6138S.

It took a little leg work, but I was actually able to track down every owner of my car and get them all at the same show for a picture!

Can you straighten out the bottom of the broadcast sheet, or post a pic of the fender tag? I can help with the decoding a bit

Chances are the radiator got painted up nice on the outside, but has 40 years worth of scaling and corrosion in the core. You will even see simetimes where they will still flow, but the buildup acts as an insulator and you coolant passes right on through the core without dissipating enough heat...
