I’ve been investigating more and only got more confused. Driver’s side trunk lip has 8MC 12L. Drivers side radiator support top has 72515? and side has 0D-15.

Here is my intake. Pretty weird.

I have a 1967 Dodge Dart GT. 273 2bbl automatic. I have a few questions. 1. Where is vin number on the radiator support? 2. My intake casting number is 3X19. What is the X? 3. I have no part number on my radiator but it looks original. Just 38086? Thanks for any help?

I have a 1973 Dodge Dart Sport 340. It has the factory 14” Rallyes on it. I am thinking of changing to steel rims, painted body color with dog dish caps. My question is what steel wheel do I need to buy as I have front disc brakes? I also have new tires so I will need to stay with 14” rims...

On a 1973 Dart Sport 340 with a factory in-dash gauge, will the factory temperature sending unit work with an aftermarket under dash temperature gauge? Thanks

Have a 1972 Dart with an early 60's 383 but there is no kickdown to the 727 transmission. Will not shift into 3rd. Is this a kickdown issue and can you buy a kickdown for this combination? Thanks

OK, tomorrow I’m going to take the Teflon off and try it again. If nothing then, I’ll have someone test the sending unit. Thanks for all the advise.

There is Teflon on the new sending unit but a friend touched the plus side of the battery and the side of the sending unit with a test light and the light came on. He said the sending unit is grounded. Is he wrong? Is there a fuse that might cause the gauge not to work?

Yes. All other gauges work fine.

I have a 1973 Dodge Dart Sport 340. The only thing not working was the temperature gauge. I tested the gauge by grounding the push on plug and turned the key on. The gauge pinned to hot. Turned the key off and it went back down. I'm thinking that is easy, I need a new temperature gauge sending...
