Yep you need to get into the 10+ range and esp with more cam buddy:) You can gain some with head milling, but i would look to Ross etc for a nice set of forged higher compression pistons as a start and maybe open up the j heads with larger exh valves if you want to get into the hp per cu inch...

bottom line depends on clutches installed, is ok on old stuff as many have stated.

HP rating is a few less thqan f @ g but the torque is a beast in the 392, go drive it. nice car!

3.91 still ok on the street, just a little tuff on a long hwy drive. good for the track:)
