There may be 1000 lbs on the trailer but rolling weight is different. There is probably less than 400 lbs rolling weight. That's why you can move it by hand if it balances or push your car if needed.
That's not an AN-10 folitting. It is a 45° flare fitting. They do not interchange. The difference is noted in where the threads start. If there is a space from the flare to the beginning thread (like in the pic) then it a 45°
The slotted holes you see between the 2 1" holes are where the front of the hitch mounts. Looks like the other four are not on your rails but would be the plate behind where the spring hangers mount. If your welds on the rails and pan are good, that would be plenty strong.
