Any tricks to removing a stuck/stubborn/rusted-in place bleeder?

I had to replace a valve on my boiler and had to shut off some water valves. Frozen solid. I had bought this on Amazon for the car. Had not used in the car yet, but sorted this on the valves and within 10 minutes it broke loose using one hand. Worked great.

Poll: Do traction bars help out Mopar leaf springs or not

I put Caltracs and split mono leafs on my Duster. However, it did have Lakewood 28" traction bars on it when I bought it years ago. Leaving the line it would pull the front end off the ground with stock springs. The previous owner had one of the U-bolts snap off during a launch. He went ahead...

Buy a car without physically seeing it

I have used a third party called Lemon Squad- Pre-Purchase Car Inspection | Vehicle Inspection to go and inspect the car I was thinking about buying. They did a great inspection with tons of pics and they also were able to use a device to inspect how much body filler or how thick the paint was...

buying a car out of state

I used "Lemon Squad" to go out to a car I was looking at and they did a complete inspection. They took about 70 plus pics of the car, went over the body checking thicknesses to see if there is a lot of bondo on the car, and a video of the car running. I was impressed with the report. I think...

Muscle Motors stroker kits- any good??

Ragnar in Iceland- Thanks for the information. Its interesting to know that the engine is internal balanced. I read that in the brochure I have. And it goes against most things that are posted on this site about 360 engines being external balanced.

Muscle Motors stroker kits- any good??

Is Muscle Motors still in business? I have an engine in my Duster that supposedly was a kit from these guys, "416 360 stroker". It was doing in the low 12's when I bought the car. I wish I had more info on the build. The builder (Russ Hall) passed away in 2007, a year after he built the motor.

lying under cars is gonna be a thing of the past

Halfafish-" I got mine about two years ago - some of the best money I've ever spent! The decision on 2-post vs. 4-post has pro's and con's on both sides. I decided this one would check the most boxes and have the fewest shortcomings." Thinking about picking one up after I move. Where did you...

    QA1 Handling kit questions ???

Fred Scigliano- Quick question on QA1 parts used. Do you have the upper and lower control arms installed from QA1? I'm looking at one of the kits: QA1 HK12-CRA1 1967-72 Mopar A-Body Handling Suspension Kit, Level 2 They say it only fits 67-72 A-Bodies Mopars. However, I was told that the only...

    Newby duster bumper questions

Rich, I replaced my front bumper with a fiberglass unit for $100 from Unlimited Products(PL-310). Easy to install. For the back I just removed the bumperettes and took the back brackets off the car, then cut out the shock absorbing pieces that were attached. This eliminated about 15 pounds...
