    I used a product called Slip Plate Graphite lubricant. Sandblast the manifolds, spray a few coats of Slip Plate on, let for 24 hours and buff the paint with a cotton terry cloth. Works very well. Stays on, does not burnoff or flake off. Far superior than the Cast Blast paints I used in the...

    Accidentally found this when I was looking at 318 alternator bracket pics. That water pump with the 3 water ports is for the 273 and 318 without air conditioning up to 69.     fixing the inner fender behind the rusted out quarter

    I would. Just get some 18 guage metal. Do a little to give a little roundness to the pieces matching the rest of the quarter panel. Pretty easy and straight forward welding repair.
