    Cool Mopar Mug

That is a nice mug. I may even get one like that, but girlfriend bought me a personalized mug with the worst picture of my avatar cuda on it that I have ever seen. Still love it though. It is for my birthday in a few days. If I get one I will have to keep it hidden for a while.

What are these foam pieces? 1973 dart w/ AC working on heater core

That is what they look like. They come in the gasket kit from DMT, but are a better material than OEM. They fit in the cutouts for the inside firewall heater box insulation.

    Start..no run *resolved*

My similar problem was caused by a loose rivet on the run contact of the ignition switch. (Contact would spin around). Would start but die. It presented itself intermittently as I was driving sometimes. I could shake the wires around and it would stay running. Replaced the switch and all was fixed.

    Air Gap hood clearance

I have an air gap on a 440 with an AVS2 carb. I used a Cobra-Tek drop base air filter part number HZ-7195B-PBK. Bought from Ebag. Fits great and clears the choke housing and throttle linkages. Was the base only.

What would you do if you had an extra house laying around?

You can advertise that as a possible sale with a 203K FHA rehab loan, where the money borrowed is in an escrow account and doesn't have to be paid on until it sells and has the occupancy permit. It is used to pay contractors to rehabilitate the home. My house was in a similar condition (gutted)...

    Mystery Piece

Looks like a pin for the cross bar on a paired lifter set. Looks like it is punched on the end to hold it. It could be from an earlier repair if all yours are present. Probably too long for that though.

A Little Electrical (House) Help Please....

They are meant to be used where no boxes and no external connections in wall are allowed. All electrical junctions are under the stupid little plastic cover. A word of warning, don't pull the wire into the box and expect to pull it back out, the sheathing will be damaged unless you pry up the...

A Little Electrical (House) Help Please....

I did a quick diagram to show how you can safely install a new box and new switches into the existing hole provided you have clearance to your exterior wall behind the drywall and you use the home depot blue box with ears. I have wired many a subdivision worth of houses in my years as an...

2nd largest aerospace manufacturer laid me off at 63 1/2 years. 18 years with company. I wanted the last remaining time (to 65) for 401K top off and a nice vacation. Nope. They hit a lot of near retirement guys and paid us a substantial amount if we would sign an agreement not to seek legal...
