well... that may depend on whether or not I have a safe set up with the Cap Auto tubular "K" frame. I was hoping to get a set of torsion bars and some KYB shocks. But....wanted to talk to QA1 to see if they can help me out with my Cap issues

good point... just frustrated that everything I bought and put together years ago is all wrong. Reckon I got a 7.25" damper. Also found that the threads are done for on the timing cover. So I thought the engine was ready to drop in 10 or more years ago... I was so young and naive!! hahahahahaha

Highly discouraged... Members have commented on my choice of tubular front end, Cap has apparently fallen from grace. Discovered that my engine mounts are not the same from the 273 to the 318 I now have. Installed the water pump on the front of the engine and found that the crank damper...
I've got the same issue swapping the 273 for a later model 318. Wanted to make sure I wasn't losing my mind trying to figure out if the block came minus the ear. Thanks for the idea!
