hello everyone still trudging along on the 71 demon, have the hvac system torn down for repairs and resto, having a problem finding a replacement heater core for a factory a/c equipped car, found the evaporator but every place i have searched only has a core for one without air any help on...

thank you as i could see no mark on the steering shaft where one would have been. i believe that large plastic bushing is actually the one used for the shift tube on an automatic. my foams on the shaft were long gone

restoring 71 demon, manual column, the lower bearing set up the plastic bushing has no bearing left in it and after researching myself the bushing appears to be for one with an automatic as it is the size of the shift tube. the column tube has 3 notches at the bottom instead of the 2 or 3 bolt...

thanks cruze for the replies, there is no rust at all, appears for some reason the stiffener bracket must not have been installed because the apron looks as tho the ball pulled thru and mangled the area that it was in, probably a 3/4 hole pulled out of the apron and runners in all directions...
