The brake lights on my Duster do not illuminate until heavy pressure is applied to the pedal. How do I adjust the pedal / switch to allow the lights to illuminate with a lighter touch to the pedal?

A word of caution regarding the lug bolt patterns. When we converted the manual brakes on my 71 Duster to power disc we learned there were 2 different lug patterns dependent on the original engine installed. The slant 6 and 318 had the smaller 5X4 pattern while the 340 had the larger 5X4.5...

I have had the slant 6 in a '73 Duster, the 318 in a '72 Scamp, and currently have a '71 Duster with a 360 original to a '78 Lil Red Truck. Never had a 340. But I have found good in every different MOPAR engine I have ever had.

My viewpoint is if your Duster has the 340, then go with either the 340 hood scoops or the 340 hood decal. I cannot say I am a purest because my '71 Duster has a 360 and we all know there not installed in MOPAR cars until 1974. Because of that I changed out the original grill and installed a...

Exactly what I am after. I have the VIN tag and a damaged decal/tag on the drivers door, but not other paperwork. Simply doing this for the enjoyment and knowledge obtained.
