buy a core motor. you'll go crazy trying to find all the little pieces. brackets, clip and correct BOLTS.

I use the Proform tool. for the cylinder I have a HF compression tester set that uses a short whip with a male air fitting. just screw it in and hook up shop air. just remember that the engine will rotate till valves close when hooking up.

i went with these because they were the step up from max .500 lift springs. with my .508 cam i didnt want to take a chance with coil bind or maxing out the springs and having premature failure.

used stock replacements for a '69 340.

don't know if its true, but I've heard back seats different between hardtops and post cars. maybe someone can clear that one or confirm it.

it sounds like a solid lifter cam.
