Starts, runs, drives, and stops! 73 Dart, 225 slant six, PS, still has under 100,000 miles, bought from the family that bought it from Tacoma Dodge when it was new. This was my daily driver for a few years until I was hit by a dumbass 17 year old girl that didn't look or signal before changing...

I have a 400cfm Carter on a beefed up slant six daily driver and I have been running no vacuum advance because there is only one hook up on the front and it is constant vacuum. It is also on the passenger side of the carb where the ported vacuum would be on an Eddy or other Carter carb...

I don't want to pee in your Cheerios but DO NOT RUN THAT FILTER!!!!! You are better off with the plastic one or better yet just get one of the all metal ones (4 bucks). The glass ones are not allowed at drag strips because if the glass cracks or shatters you will be pumping fuel everywhere.

Pretty sure they were know for being a big pain in the *** and not worth the efforts. Thats what I have read about them on line and in the Mopar mags. i would think that the exploder conversion is the new/cheap way to go unless your going all after market.

I paid $250 for a super nice 90,000 mile 77 Monaco 4 door back in high school. We spent a summer beating the ungodly hell out of that thing, jumped it on old logging roads playing Rosco P. Coltraine then I sold it for $250 at the end of summer to a D-derby guy.

If you use the smallblock bolt you will need to add anothe thick washer or shave it down about 1/4" as they are longer than the rare and almost never used slant bolts.

I have never owned a FWD car and never will. I have always driven my cars rain/sun/snow/ice including the car I had just out of high school a 73 camaro with a balls out 66 327 that shouldn't have made it past the cam break in because the walls were so thin, it also had a 4 speed with a Hurst...
