Have you pulled the plugs to look at them? Do you have any pics to post of them?
Also, not all detonation is audible. In other words it may be happening more but you can only hear it the last little bit of throttle opening.

I agree the Westech dyno is pretty optomistic. If Dulcich has his set up the same way it is still likely close to an apples to apples comparison. Just deduct about 30 peak hp for real numbers.
For reference Dulcich build a stock bottom end 340 with X heads that made 400hp with the same cam about 20 years ago. Magazine article for Mopar Muscle if I remember right.
You are correct. Not everyone needs the extra though. 440 lb ft and 440 hp from a docile 340 street engine is damn near a perfect combo for street driven car.

These were installed and removed shortly after and have the typical scratches on the ceramic coating as a result. Very good shape. For small block B or E body.
But if the lunati profile is ground by comp on one of their **** cores then what is the point. May as well throw a handful of metal shavings in your engine and get ut over with quick.
