My daily drivers tranny went out. So I'm out of a driver car :( need to figure this out ASAP

Sell the pos and put a slant6 in my duster and drive it til I can scrounge the parts for my 318 what would be cheaper? As I see it it will need a engine, tranny prolly starter new belts, hoses battery, slant 6 driveshaft and a radiator

What would be cheaper. Buying a new tranny or dropping a slanty into my duster. All it needs is a motor tranny driveshaft battery alternator and radiator

Driving it now. The o/d light is no longer flashing but still shifts hard. Will have to check fluids tomarrow when it's daylight

Haven't checked it. Bought it for 500 bucks from a friend who I lived with. Check that soon as I get off work

And it only happened twice. Now it drives just fine

95 ford explorer. O/D is flashing on and off put it in drive goes nowhere put it 1st then 2nd then drive goes just fine. What's up with it?

I don't understand. Does this mean a blow through carb is not needed and the air is forced under the carb into the intake?

Although I'm not too keen on anything over 15s on any car. Still none the less looks good

Nabbed a bare 340 block with steel crank for 450 bucks :)

Got my hands on a 340 bare block with steel crank so I'm gunna be using this instead of a 400. So what's my best head/ cam choice. Keep in mind this is a 21 year olds budget lol so no race heads I want the best head factory wise and a good lopey but streetable cam to match. Idc if I have to take...

Biggest cam I can throw in a stock 400 bb with only intake carb and headers? And possibly a mild port to the stock heads?

I have decided NOT to go with boost but rather probably a nitrous build. Don't 360s have the steel rods? Or was that 318s
