Thanks everyone for your reply's! From what I am seeing here then it looks like they are the same bolt that my 72 E-body lower shock bolt is then. Surprising that Mopar actually used the same size bolt on more then one vehicle, that's why I asked for help here. Thanks again!
I was wondering if anyone knows the size and length of the bolts for a 1967 Barracuda Front Lower Shock bolts. I am putting new front shocks on the wife's car and noticed someone has put what looks to be all-thread in both lower shocks mounts. Thanks!
Thanks Bob, I went ahead and removed the lip from the bottom up about 4.5" then took 3/4" up to zero, like a pizza slice and they came out really nice. Looks like they were made that way.
Hey Mopar friends, I am needing a distributor for my small block 418 stroker build. I am stuck between the MSD Ready Run pn-8388 and the Digital E-Curve pn-8504. Anyone have any input on either of these? Motor will be a 550 hp mostly street driven 72 Challenger. Thanks I was trying to stay...
Au
Is there anyway you could get me a few pics of the inside of your fenders after you made the so I could see how much lip you left? Also if you have any pics side view with the wheel in place. When you bent the fender in, what did you use. Thank you in advance
225/60/15 will be close on the front depending on where the torsion bars are set. I had 225/70/14 on the front my wife's and you had to be very careful. Took them off as I was afraid of her rolling the fender up while backing up and turning (like out of the driveway)>
Thanks MVH, I was wondering about the fenders...I learned something there. How about the rear tires and wheels? Have you ever tried the P245's or 255's with the 3 1/4" backspace for spring clearance?
I got a deal on 15X6 Torque Thrust II rims with 3 1/4 backspace. I tried P245/60/15's on 3 3/4 backspace Rallye rims off my 72 Challenger and the tires hit the springs a very little. I think I will be good with the 3 1/4. I can't say for sure yet, that's why I posted the question.
Hello All, I'm new to the site and have looked through the many posts about tire size. I am putting new tires on my wife's 67 Barracuda convert and I am not sure the underside of the fenders/wheel wells are shaped the same as a fast back or notch fender. I was hoping to run a P245/60/15 or...
