Hi. In restoring my 1967 Dart, I have wound up with an extra windshield gasket and the one year only 67 trim and 4 corners that go with it. I bought the trim and corners from the seller on ebay. He is still selling more, if you want to check them out. And then I got a used in good condition...

It is chromed trim, shiny, and is pretty nice. I am impressed. The corners are metal. But I am thinking I may work on a different project instead, and I'm trying to decide whether to keep it all for the future or sell the trim, corners and gasket, maybe as a complete package.

Anybody know what their timing curve is? What are you setting the timing at initially? 5 like my service manual says? Or something different?

Hi folks. I am trying to understand distributor curves, and according to my manual, my 1967 slant 6 engine should have a initial timing of 5 BTDC, a mechanical advance total up to 25 BTDC, and a vacuum advance up to 15, for a total of 45 BTDC max with all three combined. That seems consistent...

Just a thought, since my slant six runs hot whenever the vacuum advance stops working on my distributor (curse you cheap chinese parts!) and really hot when the mechanical advance sticks too. I would make sure your base is where its supposed to be, then check mechanical with the vacuum...
