Thanks mate. Will check these things. I've left all the original electronic wiring there so wouldnt be hard to put a new dizzy and original dstyle ECU back in.
Yeah, when the car is hot it happens thru the mid rev range. Also noticed that when I jump on the throttle ant high revs it wants to die (sounds like a fuel issue)
Have changed all the leads on it. MSD Blaster Coil is near new. There's no ballast resistor on this set up.

Unfortunately I made the mistake of putting Mopar P3412003 (3200lbs) leaf springs in it (to replace the old screwed springs) and the car is jacked up real high and want it sitting way lower.

Piston to Valve clearance might be an issue. Ive got Mopar Perf Purple 484 cam in the Duster and do want to put a bigger cam in it but understand I need to sort out compression first and the like. Get the block decked or new pistons with relief to push compression up. I'd love to get compression...
