Yes a stock roller 318 is the best op but im just wondering if some one has done a 400 build

Thinking about building me a 400bb whid 440 crank,ending up whid 451 cui,the direction whid this build is fuel economi not performance,as this engine orignaly is a low comp engine im shooting for 9.5 ratio,any sugestions on cam pistones intake carb,this is a low budget build so cast crank cast...

If you look at what engine builders and mecaniks like me are using its often a mecanical guage to mesure oil pressure,a big liquide filld guage whid diferent fittings,in my cars i always use mecanical guages they have newer faild and are as accurate as can be,but thats just me

I built a new set of guages for my truck,got these on ebay for 35 $ some sheep china stuff and to my surprise thay al work,made the plate of some scrap i had,onley time whill tell for how long they hold up,fun prodject doe
