DV never said a narrow LSA is better! You have to choose the right LSA for your engine combo!
My 493 cui with 2.14 intake valve (undervalved) needs a LSA in somewhere 100°, a 340 with 2.02 valves in the 110.

Hydraulic ratio could be a issue, a too big mc creates a hard pedal.

you dont need to disassemble the tranny, crack the bushing with a small screwdriver, then take a bigger one and open the "puzzle" line. See the fine atop the blue line.
