I shift @ 12K rpm and run it out to 13K. I'll pull 4 degrees out on the box at the hit and lock out 1st and second gear since I'm old school and still foot shift, lol.

Anyone ever consider using an AX15 in their A body? I've heard of it handling 400hp in Jeep LS swaps with ease assuming it's been taken care of. Seems like it could be an interesting 5 speed option..... Or maybe i'm just insane.

Having read pretty much everything, I'm thinking the K-1 will work best for me... Room for a BB in the future, ease of maintance, etc. 225 on 15's in the front is what I want and should be all I need. I'm not full blown autoX or drag race specific but I sure as hell want to get this done before...
