Thanks, the original lifters are long gone, and this engine was pretty rough for having "been recently rebuilt." I ordered new ones, which I realize is a lottery in itself.

I had one on a .060 over 360, with the Mopar .484 cam, the heads were stock 360 heads with mild porting and good valve job. It pulled well up to about 6800 RPM.

This is just a guess based on recollection, I think I ran into that same situation years ago, and it ended up being the ballast resistor.

Assemble it as shown in the first pic, tap the tab with a hammer, and install it as is.

What, besides the obvious side marker lamps are different on fenders for a 70-71 Duster vs 72 and up? I’m aware of the “beak” front on the later models as well, just haven’t found any good references between the early ones.
