Help Firing Dad's Dart up Again - SOS - No Spark After Hosing Off the Dust

You have to be 100% certain you have excellent ground on your ignition control module. You have had it off and on again, check and double check! May be a simple as that.

    Maaco paint job?

I live in Canada, so my experience may be different than yours. I COULD NOT find a shop that was willing to take my car in and shoot it after I had done the bodywork. It wasn't that my work was bad.... they would not even look at it. Also.... I painted my shell in my garage. Built a tent out...

    Cleaning 3rd member

Liquid gas is not explosive. Vapors are the hazard here. Gas is fuel using it as a cleaner is like using a screwdriver as a chisel. It kind of works but the risk outweighs the benefit

    Dash Cluster

I just checked and it looks like I may be off on my comment about the fuel gauge. Nevertheless, it's a simple cheap long term solution. I was pretty happy with myself for sorting it out!

    Dash Cluster

I may be wrong but I thought the earlier Darts had the voltage regulator in the fuel gauge? I made an electronic VR with a few parts ordered online. Bought enough to cobble together 5 voltage regs for about 20 bucks delivered to my front door.

904 shifter control arm rubber Grommet

I turned a piece of brass on my lathe and used a small hitch pin clip to secure it. Not factory but it has held up beautifully

    Two questions...

I am no pro, but I don't think you are measuring ride height according to the FSM. As I understand it, these unibody cars are not to be measured from anywhere on the sheet metal. Follow the process and set your ride height according to the FSM. I tried 3 different shops in my area and NOT ONE...

Help with glass reinstall Marion (columbus) Ohio. Striking out

I considered using rope on mine. I did a rope install the rear slider in my Dakota. It worked slick! I chose not to go with rope on the dart, that rear window has some mean points on the lower, and it is not easy getting around there let alone room inside near the package tray. After I found...

Help with glass reinstall Marion (columbus) Ohio. Striking out

I agree with the posters that say do it yourself. I installed all the glass in my 74 swinger by myself with no help at all with absolutely no damage or leakage afterwards. Go down to the glass shop and talk to the oldest guy you can find. He will probably gladly give you his advice, while...

    Is my Vacuum too low?

Thanks again! will add the fuel line pinch test to my tinkering once the North Pole goes home. At the risk of sounding even more like a Noob..... WET fuel level = actual float bowl fuel level??? I do have a bit of the little starter that could syndrome when the engine is cold and has been...

    Is my Vacuum too low?

Train wreck? Like I mentioned it RUNS pretty good, but does it drive good? No idea, its about 40 below, and there is about 3 inches of ice on the roads, not to mention a big frigging snow drift behind the bay door the car is parked behind. Ask me how it works once we get to a month with no...
