That's outrageously cool! A friend in high school dad's tow car was a '66 Hemi Charger. We used to joke about his tow car being faster than, I believe his Super Stock RoadRunner, if I remember correctly. Lol. Used to watch them run at Minnesota.

I was at the strip for Evel Knievel's jump. I didn't even know he was going to be there. It was a side show that wasn't needed to bring in people. The dragstrip was very popular back then and I was there for the racing, the sights sounds and overall excitement of being within feet of some of the...

    Doug's headers and mini-starters

There is a lot of movement possible when all the bolts are loose. Forward, backward, right and left. I wonder if those headers were actually made for power steering? Regardless, it looks like you're really close now. I think you can do it. Good luck. An extra helping hand might help also.

Took the 67 Mustang out for a cruise today

You guys did a really nice job. I'm sure that must be a clear coat on there. That really brings out that color. Again, I'm assuming here, that's a factory color and if so it never looked that good from the factory.

That paint job looks really nice! Did you have a part in that? I had '68 convertible that I regrettably, never finished before I sold it. Love that color too! I missed that you did paint it. Nice job, I figured you did!

What paint to use for interior parts.

Unless you are doing an absolute concourse restoration, all the above information is great. The only thing I would add is that if you paint over a black dash with a green type dye, it will definitely come out as a darker color of green. :)

    Paint stripper

I used to sandblast locomotives with a heavy duty sandblasting setup. The locomotives that had epoxy type paint and some even had a clear coat back in the '80s were extremely hard to remove. The ones that had a straight enamel paint, well it practically flew off them. My point is, the stronger...

    Ignition problem

Hmm…. I wonder if that's why I had trouble starting my '73 Satellite many years ago after a rainy day.. No drip edge over the ballast resistor and the seal at the cowl wasn't doing it's job.

Shout out to Detroit Muscle Technologies

That sounds like the company has been bought or sold. They may be in some kind of transition. Either way, they advertise here so it would nice to here the real story. It doesn't sound like them at all from my dealings with them.

    A/C push buttons gasket

I need one also, but not ready for it yet. Seems like something I should be able to make myself. Maybe? :)
