I am wanting to run a rack and pinion and also get rid of the torsion bar cross member for added room to tuck things in. I'm eventually headed for top speed runs trying to join the 200mph club so I want everything tucked and will have a belly pan if I can for aero. Thanks everyone

Thanks guys, that's what I was thinking but wanted to be sure. Suffice to say I'm pissed at myself for the mistake mostly cause I was super excited, oh well off I go to find a new pan.

Coil was replaced after points. Weird thing to me is it ran after the points were in then gave out. That's when I did the coil. Cap and rotor passed visual. Points are set at .020 and timing was fine when it was running. I did try and adjust timing a bit while my wife cranked the car to see if...

Hey all. Got a 225 ran fine one day then nothing the next. I put points in it and gapped them then it fired up and idled but would not take any throttle(sputtering spitting etc) I have a very weak spark even with a new coil. Was wondering if the condenser could cause this as I did not replace...

After ep lacing the ignition switch it still happened then swapped out the regulator and it solved the problem

I had this same problem on mine. It was the voltage regulator
