I see the parts you are talking about, it looks like one of the bushings is missing there is a lot of slack in the movement.

I have a 72 scamp that recently decided it didn't want to run. I turn the ignition and nothing happens...the gauges work but no starter. I crawled under and jiggled the auto transmission linkage got back in the car and it started. Now I have figured out I can move the column mounted gear lever...

Hello everybody, I have a 72 scamp, most of the car is in great shape however the dash is cracked and really looks bad. I bought the plastic dash pad cover which helped but still not what I expected. Anybody know where I can find a new dash or can the old one be fixed or restored? Thanks

Thanks everyone...I do appreciate the advice. No the handle does not move or jiggle. It just gets very tight and seems like it is going to break if I force it.

Hey everyone, Got a 72 scamp, when I try to roll the windows down both sides will only go down about 1/4 of the way then the crank gets really tight. Feels like it is gonna break so I don't force it. Any fix for this? Thanks

I have a 72 scamp that I really want to bring back to life. I have been told that lots of parts interchange with the Dart. Anybody know where I can find details on this? need tail lights, some trim pieces. thanks for any guidance.
