Is that an OEM Mopar roof rack

I stumbled on this 70' Valiant and noticed the roof rack. I know an OEM roof rack is quite rare, but is the one on this Valiant OEM or something else? The car is for sale so I am interested in the roof rack.

Beautiful Valiant! Does it have the 225? Was it restored once or is it a true survivor?

Okay that is very interesting I know the Schinznach built cars had the stickers but my Valiant doesnt, but it was "restored" so I assume it got removed. Or maybe it was not attached in the first case because mine got the "defog/defrost rear window option". But what it got is the Schinznach tag...

European A-body owners: where are you?

Sadly not Automontage Schinznach ASAG (car assembly Schinznach) "closed" the assembly in 1972. They simply imported the cars from 1973 on. My Valiant was built on May 17th 1974 in Newark, Delaware, the same plant where Chrysler built M48 Patton tanks were made. Schinznach built cars only had...

A Body roof racks for sedans

I am just curious, were there ever made factory roof racks for early/mid 70's A body Sedans (Valiant)? If so, how rare are they? I was just wondering how my '74 would look like with a roof rack but I can't find anything online. I have seen some roof racks for 60's Valiant wagons but not for the...
