    old tool boxes

Very cool, I thought I was the only one that had a thing for these old toolboxes. I have two that i use at work. One is from the 40's, I did have to refurbish the handle. I'm an electrician, and I always get comments about my vintage toolboxes that are on my cart on the jobsite. Usually people...

    let's see those custom slants

It's just a mostly stock slant six that I rebuilt 7,000 miles ago. I got bored, so I made everything to bolt this b&m 144 blower on. It would have been cheaper just to put a small block in it, but this is just more fun. After reinstalling the engine, the transmission developed a leak. So out of...

    Poly 318 4bbl intake manifold

you might want to check over at sweptline.org. a lot of the 60's dodge trucks came with poly's. one of those guys may be looking for one. i know the wieand alluminum intakes are valuble, but i think my dad picked his cast iron mopar intake up for 20-40 bucks at a mopar swap meet.

    500 cfm edelbrock carburetor...

on a stock slant with stock compression, thats too much carb. since an engine is an air pump, you slant with the stock cam, intake and exhaust, cannot attain high enough air flow to make that carb work properly. even if you adjust jets and needles. you will run into bogging issues on acceleration.

Superchargers that offer a top mount?

My engine is stock compression. I rebuilt this engine7,000 miles ago. It's basically a stock rebuild. Eventually I will build another engine and a head with bigger valves. As for the blower, I got it off a member on the hamb. I think I paid 600 for the blower with Chevy intake and a 750 Holley...
